When The Heart United With The Dawn

Image
Amidst the noise and pollution, as vehicles puffed and little children squealed with joy as they headed home, I sat at the bus stop with my cousin, awaiting the rest of the team. One.Tribe.India was driving us a couple miles away from this pollution fused mess. Finally the weekend that beckoned peace from the city life was here and I was off to a wonderful start. Slowly more people trickled in and only then it hit that the trip was actually happening and it wasn’t a joke. For the first time in the year I had a light heart and expected nothing. After a brief introduction to our team of about 20 we set off to the Makalidurga Trail for the night. Tents, Sleeping bags, the team and all. The bus ride was definitely fun! Considering most of the team was about the same age as me. We sang, pranced and swayed. The bus jerked, we laughed anyways. The skies grew dark and slowly rainy clouds set in to dampen the mood and put us into a lazy drowse. Around 10:00 PM we pit stopped for some Chai. S

Passion or a Lie? - with a personal touch.

As competitive as any field, Music is Tough, filled with money, tears and a lot of sacrifices. Any Musician would share the same opinion. Working different jobs, unsatisfactory conditions, but fueling himself by will is commonly his life until he makes his mark. But the question that stands today is how many of us are brave enough to pursue our passion? In spite all the encouragement, despite all the ill fate, Passion is the only thing that can pull you along this string of harmonies, life and decisions.  Soft babbles of a river or the crushing rocks of an avalanche all create sound. The buzz of a bee or the ping of our smart phones, Music is where you feel it to be. It’s in your heartbeat, in your footstep, in silent prayers before bedtime. Many of us love Music for what it is. Different genres, different styles, diverse rhythms. There so much. A musician’s job is to find balance between these and create the right nomenclature. A little bit of snare, with a touch of a few major keys

Swachh Bharath Abhiyan- Any Good?

Streets where heat signature vary and fragrances change beyond every meter, where cuisine is a wide palate, where lifestyles are governed by occupations, where drought is caused by the lack of rain and rain means flood, where dustbins are empty boxes and the floors are traps for waste- Welcome to India!                 India has seen the rise and fall of many kings, many races, and many cultures thus has also seen variety of garbage. Plastics, Fabrics, Nylon, Synthetics and the types are endless. For a country bound by culture and religion, if cleanliness is next to godliness, spirituality is not a concern. With a Gandhian principle in mind, the Indian prime minister introduced the concept of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan which translates into Clean India Mission to literally sweep the streets clean.   It is a task of toil to have every citizen of the Indian continent behave and follow hygiene instructions. In a country with people holding immense ego, self-pride and lack of social

Life- trully ours?

Image
This life we live, the times we give is it really ours? or beyond our powers? oblivious to the truth, the sands of time unknown to all, pale as lime do we really live life for ourselves or do we really live for the like of all? is it in human nature to perceive the future judging the past, holding back, than fall when do we kick that big ol' bucket? when do we bite that long sitting dust unknown to our likes, blowing our trumpet breathing everyday, giving in to lust unfair to the world around, trying to hold steady ground fair to the quests of mystery, a hungry wide eyed hound like the endless dark pits of dark drought the times we thought we held strong and fought! was it worth? was it birth? to real reason to live long, to live free, no treason one shall never know when death shall stare him in the eye until then hold no regrets you live once, cant lie...

FINE?

Image
Hey there, "How you doing today?"-"FINE" you might say, literally meaning Freaked Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional. There's a hundred things in every single day of our lives that we hide and let go without voicing. This being the case for various reasons, to avoid conflict, to safeguard, protect, cheat, whatever! In about a week we have a thousand thoughts unsaid, heard by no one. End up sleeping every night with that light feeling in our heart that warms us with hope of a better tomorrow. Not knowing what to expect we fall back into our instincts and somehow make it through the night but it's the same story all over again the following dawn.   Often held back by fear and insecurity, we forget to value ourselves for who we are. High and mighty on the outside but scared and anxious on the inside, hiding our darkness, not letting any light seep through. But ask yourself this; "Is this what you want? Is this your purpose? How are you spending your valuab

Are you a bathroom singer???

Image
Hello Homo-Sapiens, If all the songs we've all sung under the shower were to be compiled, Recorded and Noticed, we'd all be stars... Yes it's true there isn't a soul that treads this planet who hasn't at the least hummed a tune. It could be our shower remixes or cover or even own compositions. But why is it that we sing? or dance? Why do we feel overwhelmed under the shower??? Often people sing in their bathrooms because of the hard wall surfaces that enhance acoustic surround and adds this certain depth and quality to the tune. Its also true that the joy felt at the touch of water on our skin is suppose to elate the mind and release the feeling of warmth and relaxation. Its a stress buster. People who often run tight schedules often find their bliss under a shower. According to the preference it could be a cold or warm shower. One must be proud to be a bathroom singer. Who knew showers could be this exhilarating? Here's a fun fact! "Weird

Oblivion!

Image
What is Oblivion? To those of ya'll wondering out there, its the mere state of being unaware of whats happening around us... Well, its definitely a confusing state of mind, a complete Misunderstanding... but most importantly an element of thought we all tend to side line and ignore.Close your eyes and think for a minute..."Do I live in Oblivion? Am i unaware of the circumstance and status of where i am?"   Its quite hard to understand and completely breathe in the true meaning of being in the state of oblivion. The Homo-sapien mind is tuned such, that it tends to forget that which it does not find important. For example; to a carpenter, getting woodwork done stands first priority. The mind never fails to undermine this thought because it's displayed as a need to him. With his mind occupied in this state, its pretty obvious to forget instances when he may have to casually visit a relative or buy a pair of new slippers. The mind decays information it finds unimportan
